Company Introduction
Bestco Food Mart is a leading Asian Grocery Supermarket in the GTA area. We currently have two major retail locations, one in Scarborough and one in north Etobicoke/Rexdale.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain inventory and product freshness following FIFO concept; ensure full display of various produce products
Perform regular quality checks, follow procedures to process sub-standard products and manage shrinkage
Prepare various produce for sales activities, including but not limited to sorting, cut, wash, weighing, pack and labelling various produce products and displaying them in the display cases
Greet customers with good customer service, smiles, being friendly and enthusiasm
Assist customers in producing product selection and provide recommendations as required
Maintain workplace cleanliness by washing and maintaining relevant work tools clean and well-kept
Keep display cases and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
Requirements
Demonstrate job commitment, accountable, reliable
A good team player, able to collaborate with and assist other colleagues
Possess a positive, proactive, self-motivated work attitude
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
Be prepared to stand a long time and to hands-on dealing with products and lifting of products of 50 pounds on a regular basis; able to use working related tools in a safe manner
Be prepared to work in low temperature (0-4℃) environment regularly
Not allergic to handling produce products
Knowledge of basic work safety
Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred

主要工作职责
熟悉各个产品的摆放位置，了解部门内部的促销内容，积极配合主管完成每周促销活动
库存管理，检查水果蔬菜的新鲜度，保持货架上的产品摆放美观
按照公司规定对陈列产品进行品质检查，及时处理较差或已腐坏蔬果
按照部门要求准备各种产品，包括但不仅限于：清洗，分拣，切割，贴标签以及包装各类果蔬产品
协助顾客选购各种蔬果类商品，耐心友善的回答顾客的问题
负责部分工作场地的清洁工作，确保展示柜及货架干净整齐
完成主管安排的其他事务
